The A20 Pro is expected to be Apple’s first chip built on TSMC’s cutting-edge 2nm process node. This is a generational leap from the A19 Pro’s 3nm architecture. According to multiple leaks and analyst reports, the switch to 2nm brings approximately 15–20% faster CPU performance and a significant improvement in energy efficiency — meaning longer battery life even in a slimmer body.
